Ball overturning: The assembly should be correct, the operation should be smooth, and it is not allowed to be used as a throttle valve; After the ball overturns, it should be repaired in a timely manner and the sealing seat should be replaced
Used for throttling, damaged sealing surface: not allowed for throttling purposes
The sealing surface is crushed: The bolts at the valve seat should be tightened evenly and with minimal force. It is better to tighten them several times rather than too much or too tight at once. Damaged sealing surfaces can be repaired by grinding and scraping
No pre tightening pressure on the sealing surface: The sealing surface of the valve seat should be regularly checked for pre tightening pressure. If any leakage or loose contact is found on the sealing surface, a small amount of pressure should be applied to the sealing surface of the valve seat; The pre compression spring should be replaced if it fails
The gap between the connection of the wrench, valve stem, and ball is large, and the wrench has reached the closed position, but the rotation angle of the ball is less than 90 °, resulting in leakage. When the connection between the wrench, valve stem, and ball of the limited position mechanism is loose or the gap is too large, it should be repaired and tightened firmly; Adjust the limit block, eliminate the wrench advance angle, and ensure that the ball opens and closes correctly
The contact surface between the valve seat and the body is not smooth and worn, and the O-ring is damaged, causing valve seat leakage. Improve the smoothness of the contact surface between the valve seat and the body, reduce the number of valve seat disassembly, and replace the O-ring regularly
Aging and wear of rubber sealing rings: Regular replacement of rubber sealing surfaces
Loose or damaged sealing surface pressure ring: When the pressure ring is loose, it should be re tightened, and if it is severely damaged or corroded, it should be replaced
Incorrect medium flow direction: butterfly valves should be installed according to the medium flow direction arrow
Loose connection between valve stem and butterfly plate makes the valve not tightly closed: disassemble the butterfly valve and repair the connection between valve stem and butterfly plate
The transmission device and valve stem are damaged, causing the sealing surface to not close tightly: repair should be carried out, and severely damaged ones should be replaced
